Conditions of Entry at Bribie Island Aquatic Centre
To ensure a pleasant and secure environment for all our members and guests, please take a moment to review our venue conditions of entry.

Our Venue
- The Bribie Island Aquatic Leisure Centre is a Smoke-Free Zone. Smoking and use of E cigarettes (vaping) is banned at this facility and for 10m beyond the facility boundary.
- Please observe pool rules at all times and follow any reasonable instruction given by Bribie Island Aquatic Leisure Centre staff.
- Any patrons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted into the centre.
- Patrons are not permitted to bring glass objects or alcohol into the centre. Patrons may be required to have their bags checked by staff before entering the centre.
- Abusive, disruptive or offensive behaviour and language is not permitted. Offenders will be required to leave the facility.
- Children under the age of 6 years must be closely supervised (within arms – reach) by a person 18 years and over. Children under 13 years are not permitted entry unless under active supervision of a person 18 years or older.
- Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times. Only waterproof nappies are to be worn by infants in the water.
- No pets or animals permitted within the facility with the exception of Assistance Dogs.
- Cameras and mobile phone cameras are not permitted in change rooms.
- Bribie Island Aquatic Leisure Centre accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings. Patrons are advised not to bring valuables into the facility.
- Banned items are not permitted on the premises. This includes but is not limited to: Scooters, skateboards and bicycles.
- Running, pushing, flips, bombs, diving and jumping are not permitted.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry. Refusal to comply with these conditions of entry may result in removal from the facility.
Aquatic Areas
- Lifeguards supervise our aquatic areas, however active parental supervision must be followed.
- In an emergency please follow lifeguard instructions.
- Children aged 5 years and under need to be supervised within arms reach from in the pools at all times.
- Children aged 6 to 14 years need to be actively supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
- A maximum of 2 children under 5 years old or 4 children under 10 years old can be supervised by each parent/guardian over the age of 16 years.
- Suitable swimwear must be worn. Articles of clothing such as street-wear, underwear, denim, bike pants and casual wear are strictly prohibited in the water.
Only recognised waterproof aqua-nappies are to be worn in the water for infants. - Glass objects or alcohol are not permitted.
- Please adhere to the safety signage around the pool area.
- Access to the infrared sauna is only permitted for those 18 years and older.
- Cameras and mobile phones are not to be used for photos or videos unless authorised by Centre Management.
